
Activiti GA will be released this week, and there are already a lot of people who start using it. One very interesting “market segment” are in fact software vendors themselves: Companies who develop standard software for CRM, ECM or even ERP purposes, who want to add workflow functionality to their solutions. Actually, the whole Activiti project was started by Alfresco, because they wanted to integrate it as a process engine in their ECM-product.

Yesterday the W-Jax 2010 conference ended, with approx. 1,000 visitors one of the most successful events about Java in Germany. We had a booth there, and also gave some talks about Activiti and (Agile) BPM we also recored as screencasts. Since they are in German, they are not that interesting for you if do not speak that language ;-( But if you do, please don’t hesitate to watch them below. Activiti BPM-Suite will be relased soon, and some of our customers already started using it. We also receive more and more requests from people who are interested in the new platform. So we thought we should set up a litte webinar about it
